This article assumes you know how to login to your system, you are aware of the resources in your community and they have been added to the system, you are familiar with how to create SMART goals, and you are a user who has been permissioned by your system administrator to have access to the goal templates. If those assumptions are inaccurate, please see previous knowledge-based articles on How to login to ARMS, Managing Resources, how to create SMART Goals, and Permissions before continuing with this article.

MODIFYING IMPORTED PROVIDER GOAL TEMPLATES

Once you have imported the provider goal templates you will need to make some modifications for use in certain goals during navigational support. Please follow the steps below to access and modify the templates that will be auto generated upon completion of the REC CAP assessments. When modifying these templates please keep in mind the goal is to create a template for your program that will reduce the time the navigator and client need to spend adjusting these goals in the system in the future. You want to create a high-level SMART goal that can be easily modified in the session that isn’t person specific.

1. Login to your ARMS system

2. Navigate to the top left side and select the menu button

***you may be asked to allow the system to know your location. Please always select ‘allow’ when prompted for the system to function properly when utilizing certain features***

MODIFYING IMPORTED PROVIDER GOAL TEMPLATES

1. Once the template you selected to view is displayed on the screen you are now able to modify it accordingly. Remember the goal is to create high-level system wide SMART goals that can be easily modified between navigator and client. The system easily identifies the items flagged for the provider to modify by displaying the provider symbol on the left of the task. In this example,
it has a suggested task of ‘Select a local Debt & Credit Counseling Service’ as the identified task for the provider to review/modify.

There are two resources tagged to this task for review/modification by the provider. By clicking on the ‘credit counselling society’ you will be able to view the information about the resource. Once you have reviewed the resource select the 'X' in the top right-hand corner to return to the goal template. Now review the second resource tagged titled ‘what to expect during a credit counselling session’. Again, once you are done reviewing the suggested resource select the 'X' button in the top right-hand corner of the pop-up window to return to the goal template.

2. If you would like to remove the resources listed select the 'x' displayed to the left of the resource name in the grey area.
3. I f you would like to tag a new resource to any of the tasks, select the symbol  to expand the resource window.

Please note resources are organized into two tabs ‘Files’ and ‘Organizations’. Files are articles, links, pages, or documents, whereas Organizations are companies, contacts, websites, etc
