Issuing Family & Friends Portals
ARMS gives you the ability to issue Family & Friends portals that will provide them with limited access to the clients information including REC CAP Summary results, the ability to make a payment on behalf of the client, and any documents you need them to sign. Follow the steps below to issue a Family & Friends portal.
1) Login to your ARMS account and navigate to the top left corner of the screen and select the menu button
2) From the side menu options select 'Clients'
3) Select the client you would like to issue a Family & Friends portal for
4) Select the 'Access' tab
The 'Permissioned Viewers' screen allows you to see anyone that has been permissioned a login, to permission additional logins, or deactivate logins.
5) Select 'Issue Portal'
6) Complete the fields to issue a Family & Friends portal on behalf of the client
Billing Name: Enter the name of the person you are issuing a login for
Email: Enter the email address of the person you are issuing a login for
Username: Create a username they will use to login to the portal
Temporary Password: Enter a temporary password they will use to login for the first time. They will be prompted to change their password upon login.
Status: Change to Active
Address, City, State, and Postal Code: Enter the street address, City, State, and postal code for the person you are issuing a login for
Phone number: Enter their phone number
Preferred Communication Method: Select their preferred communication method (SMS, Email, or both)
7) Click 'Add'
ARMS will send them a welcome email that includes the link to log in, their username and the temporary password you created above. Please note, Family & Friends login using a different website than providers. To access their account they must go to accounts.recoveryoutcomes.com.
